That's So Cincinnati: Beauty of Bockfest; Brandon Phillips' music; development danger
Bockfest organizer Aaron Sharpe joins That's So Cincinnati this week to talk about a soooooooooo Cincinnati event. From the goats to the Sausage Queen contest, Sharpe tells us all about the annual Over-the-Rhine bock beer celebration.
Sharpe also offers his unique perspective on Cincinnati. The former WNKU personality now owns Lucius Q barbecue restaurant in the up-and-coming Pendleton neighborhood. He also is the long-time disc jockey at Great American Ball Park, and shares some fun stories about Reds players' walk-up music.
In the opening segment, That's So Cincinnati's Paul Dehner Jr. and Jason Williams discuss the issues surrounding how City Hall is doing big development projects. With all the drama surrounding the soccer stadium and Children's Hospital expansion, it begs the questions: Who's going to step up and lead the effort to try to avoid all the controversies on projects moving forward?
