2019 State of North Carolina Baseball Preview

Season 1, Episode 122,   Feb 13, 2019, 04:07 PM

Over the years, the state of North Carolina has been known for great baseball.  This year is no exception.   With the great year for NC College Baseball Teams in 2018,  the anticipation for the season is mounting!

We had the chance to talk to five great baseball coaches in North Carolina starting with Cliff Godwin at East Carolina University.  The Pirates look to build from hosting a Regional in 2018.

UNC's Mike Fox looks to take his Tarheels back to another College World Series this year in Omaha.

Chris Pollard has been making some noise in Durham as Duke has gone to two regionals in the last three years.

Kermit Smith is building a solid program in Boone.  The baseball program at Appalachian State has been laying a foundation under his leadership.

Last but certainly not least, UNC Wilmington's Mark Scalf has one of the best programs in the state.  He was in the ECU Regional Championship game last year against South Carolina.

We want to thank all the coaches for sitting down with us and taking the time out of their busy schedule to preview their teams for the 2019 season!
