You say geyser, I say gyser

"I decided on this occasion to get 'back to basics', and the bulk of the piece comprises just the original field recording of the geyser and various treatments thereof. For a change, I've kept the spoken word elements to a minimum and the work is more an experiment in pure sound than any attempt at story-telling. 

The title came from a conversation I had with my American-born wife on the different ways of pronouncing 'geyser'. The UK and the USA are, after all, "two nations divided by a common language"."
