A sailing charity in Medway has won a national award, recognising its work with young people.

The Morning Star Trust based in Chatham Marina gives them the chance to run a Tall ship for a week out at sea.

It aims to help the likes of young carers and care leavers have a break from the challenges they face.

They've been named Sail Training Vessel for 2018 by the Maritime Coastguard Agency.
