The European Commission's chief spokesman says it is "obvious" that there will be a hard border in Ireland in the event of a no-deal Brexit. Margaritis Schinas made the comments yesterday at the Commission's daily media briefing. The UK and Irish governments have both pledged to avoid a hard border. But how exactly are they going to make that happen in the event of a no-deal Brexit?
