A Thanet man who now helps the homeless charity that supported him when he ended up on the streets has been recognised as a volunteer champion.

Will Anderson works at the Aspire project's drop-in clinic - serving teas and coffees and sharing his story to try and help others.

And says his life could have been very different if he hadn't found them at a difficult time.

He also spends time at the Thanet Winter Shelter and has been honoured at the Thanet Community Awards.
