India could have grown much faster in the past two years, but for the demonetisation blunder and the flamed GST introduction. The present challenges to growth are the SME sector which is in a mess, the need to revive the agricultural sector, the unresolved banking crisis, an improved ease of doing business at the ground level and a durable and sustainable increase in new investment.
