"Bring home the bagels" instead of "bring home the bacon" - animal rights charity @peta call for end to anti-animal language

"Words matter, and as our understanding of social justice evolves, our language evolves along with it" - the words of animal rights organisation - PETA. They want us to stop using anti-animal language phrases like "bring home bacon" or "take the bull by the horns" and replace them with "bring home the bagel" and "taking the flower by the thorns."
