Restaurant chain giving kids free meal if parents hand in their phones
The restaurant chain Frankie and Benny's is offering free child meals to families who go phone free. It comes as a nationwide study found seven in ten children wish their parents would spend less time on their phones and more time talking to them. The No Phone Zone promotion will encourage people to put their mobiles and electronic devices in a lockable box while they eat. The trial will run until December the 7th at all the company's 250 restaurants, but there is potential it could become a permanent. A good idea?
