DUP leader takes aim at media over rift between DUP and business leaders
The Prime Minister is en route to Northern Ireland today as part of her nationwide tour to try and sell the Withdrawal Agreement. She'll meet community representatives and the political parties. It's expected she'll tell them that the devolved assemblies of the UK will have more power after Brexit. Although, of course, we don't currently have an assembly. The fall out from the Agreement has been a falling out between Northern Ireland business leaders and the DUP over the party's staunch opposition to the Withdrawal Agreement. The DUP has long cultivated its reputation as the "party of business", but relations soured over the last fortnight since the deal was published. Yesterday, after meeting business organisations at Stormont, Arlene Foster was clear about who she blames for the recent rift. Stephen got reaction from Glyn Roberts from Retail NI, Irish News journalist Allison Morris and commentator Newton Emerson.
