Figures given to kmfm show up to 175 people in Kent have had their driving licences taken away in the past two years after they were diagnosed with a sleep problem.

It's after we revealed yesterday almost 8-thousand people in the county are being treated at a specialist sleep clinic in Kent - although medics think that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Research by the AA has also found 1 in 8 motorists in the UK have admitted falling asleep at the wheel.

Men are more likely to admit dropping off behind the wheel - the riskiest times for driver fatigue are said to be between 2 and 6 in the morning and 2 and 4 in the afternoon.
