Should a woman born in NI, who identifies as Irish, have to go through UK immigration procedures so her American husband can live here?
Emma de Souza was born in county Derry in Northern Ireland. She married a man from America but doesn't want to go through UK immigration procedures so he can live here. That's because she says she identifies solely as Irish and holds only an Irish passport. that's led to a three year legal battle with the UK Home Office. Emma now claims that there are an alarming number of Home Office decisions that are in effect breaching the Good Friday Agreement. She says there are many more than herself affected and that Brexit is going to make matters worse. Stephen spoke to Emma and DUP MLA Jim Wells.
