On the first episode of this special five-part series going inside the future of the Democratic party, Alex Roarty talks to 2018 Delaware Senate candidate Kerri Evelyn Harris, who identifies as a biracial gay woman, about the progressive campaign she ran this fall, and the grassroots activists influencing — not always tidily — the direction of the party.
