2.7 million parents in the UK are currently living with so-called 'boomerang kids' - grown up children who flew the nest only to come back later, and the research found only 41% of these boomerang children are charged any rent.
So are these kids free loaders who are taking advantage of mum and dad's kindness, or are they victims of austerity and a rise in rent and house prices?
