But a new report says that beneath the headlines, the eating out sector is in good health, with 56 billion pounds spent in the year to June.
According to NPD Group and Springboard UK, firms catering for quick service, and breakfasts in particular, are apparently behind the growth – Springboard’s Diane Wehrle joins Michael Wilson to explain what’s happening.
