A group of veterans are setting off today on a walk that'll head through Kent, to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the first world war.

The former service men and women are leaving Ypres in Belgium, which was the scene of several world war one battles - and will arrive at the Cenotaph in London in time for Remembrance Day on Sunday.

They'll get to Dover tonight before heading through the county over the next three days.

It's been organised by Haig Housing which supports veterans.

We'll be joining the veterans tomorrow as they walk to Canterbury - you'll be able to follow their progress at kentonline.co.uk
