Throughout most of the season, it has been the ECU offense that has failed to deliver. However, against Memphis, it was the much-improved Pirate defense that turned in what was its worst performance of the season--at least statistically--as the Tigers rolled up 59 points and well over 600 yards--including more than 270 on the ground--on Saturday afternoon at a sparsely filled Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
