Amanda Clarke brings the studio to tears whilst winning £1000 Friday in October

Amanda Clarke from West Kingsdown has won kmfm's 'Thousand Pound Friday' competition.

On the last Friday of the month, from 8am until 5:50pm Kent listeners can enter to win the cash jackpot that is then delivered to the winner.

October's winner was extra special. Amanda revealed that Christmas will be a lot easier this year after revealing she has started treatment for breast cancer. Having now won the money it will make things financially a little easier.

It's also a win for a brand new listener to kmfm. Amanda has only just made the switch to Kent's Biggest Hits after reading about their latest increase in listening figures. More than 38,000 listeners have been added to the kmfm audience following the latest RAJAR results released this week.
