Today is the 25th anniversary of the Shankill bomb when the IRA murdered nine Protestant civilians in a no-warning bomb attack on a fish shop on a busy Saturday afternoon. One of the IRA bombers also died when the bomb he had been planting exploded prematurely. More than 50 people were wounded. In the week that followed, loyalists murdered 14 civilians in what they deemed revenge for the IRA bombing.

Stephen speaks to Alan McBride, whose wife and father-in-law, died in the explosion and Mark Rodgers, whose father, was murdered in a so called revenge attack.
