‘Vision In Song’ - Blind Veterans UK First Community Choir
Earlier this year Blind Veterans UK launched their very first community choir called ‘Vision in Song’.
Having performed for the first time at ‘The Lawn’ in Essex the choir, which comprises of vision-impaired ex-Service men, performs an assortment of numbers from war-time classics to patriotic anthems and jazz hits.
Speaking with us about how ‘Vision in Song’ came to be and what the choir means to its visually impaired vocalists are choir founder and Essex Community Team Leader Jennie Hammond and veteran Lional Chivers.
Jennie and Lional are chatting with RNIB Connect Radio’s Simon Pauley.
