John and Lance start the second hour discussing a Red Sox fan dissing the Astros Fan base for not caring about baseball until the Astros won a Championship they then transition to favorite players some with discretions. The guys go into a golf announcer retirement. Lance reminisces the days that Astros and Rockets had no foot print in Houston for about 3 years because of the cable impasse. John announces that 50 years ago today 2 Americans stood with their fists on the podium in the Olympics. Lance remembers when college basketball was big before the one and done NBA rule that frankly has ruined college basketball. They talk about the differences of NBA basketball from different generations. Lance talks about the plethora of talent in today’s NBA and compare it to the Dream Team of the Olympics.
