"I heard many interesting polyrhythms in the layers of crickets. Also there was a natural filter sweep of frequencies as different layers of crickets and cicada came in and out of focus. I used these two sonic reference points as ways to manipulate the sounds to create the remix. I used several layers of granular sampling and spacial movement to create the illusion of being inside of this dense fog of insects."
