Hidden Sounds - Forest Scapes
Reimagined by Joost van Duppen.
"Hidden Sounds is a serie of performances related to local eco acoustics and explore the interactions between bio-, geo- and anthrophonic elements that creates an temporary soundscape.
Klankenbos is a park in North-East Belgium with sound installations that creates a special atmosphere in the night.
During the autumn dawn chorus started to rain and woke up the forest.
The composition is the dawn chorus slightly mixed with effects and acoustic sounds.
The original recording is the score for the Forest Scapes that will be performed with several musicians spread out in Klankenbos during Oortreders festival 2018 at Neerpelt, Belgium."
