Sunrise intimations

"This field recording together with its description inspired me to compose a piece about the slightly anxious yet motionless moments when one is awake before sunrise, as the world around us has been continually ebullient. Slicing the recording into tiny loops, then stitching them back together, a kaleidoscope of sunrises begins to emerge, the somnolent stillness converges with the chaotic energy of the woken world."
