The Reset Rebel meets Will Siu MD, DPhil - MDMA Psychotherapist
Ibiza is no stranger to the use of MDMA.
It's regularly used as the party drug of choice on the island, but when we noticed clinical trials happening stateside to treat social anxiety and PTSD, we jumped on a call to New York to find out more with leading psychotherapist, Will Siu.
Will works with MAPS - The Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies which researches the medicinal utility of psychedelic substances. Trials with MDMA have been on going for quite some time and in todays episode our presenter Jo Youle chats to Will about his experiences with patients using the 'heart opening' drug to aid his practice.
But first we catch up with the Around the island walker, Laura Green from ireland, who landed on the island this week to take on the 253 km challenge after she won her free space on the walk through this podcast.
Join us this week as we celebrate Laura's landing and learn about how the trials will potentially be approved in the long term and also how Ketamine explorations are also underway by MAPS.
