Orangutans reimagined by Jake Gaule (Submerged Tapes).

"The original recording is of orangutans in Borneo. The calls that they make sounded very aggressive to me so I decided to go down an aggressive route and juxtapose the sounds they were making with some quite intense synthesised sounds. I also made liberal use of pitch shifting and time stretching to distort the vocalisations and chopped up some of the noise to use as percussion/hi-hat type sounds."
