Sammy Batten talks ECU, ACC, HS Football & Recruiting PLUS Dave Hart extension reaction!

With most North Carolina HS football programs kicking off the 2018 season tomorrow night (Fri, 8/17/18) and the college season quickly approaching, we were joined by longtime Fayetteville Observer sports writer Sammy Batten.  Sammy has immense knowledge of high school football across the state--particularly in the Cape Fear region--and the college landscape.  We discussed the outlook for ECU under third-year coach Scottie Montgomery, took a glance at the in-state ACC teams and talked recruiting.  Batten regularly writes articles--primarily on recruiting--for unofficial ECU media outlet Bonesville.net and appears on Stephen Igoe's Hoist the Colours Radio Show on Pirate Radio 1250 & 930--especially in December and February around the National Signing Days.

David, Kyle and Bubba also react to the news that Dave Hart will stay in his current role as "Special Advisor to the Chancellor for Athletics" through mid-December.
