“Dear RNIB, Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart…”
With these words, a young student of Health and Social Care at Nottingham Trent University, sent her thanks to RNIB, a charity supporting people with sight loss.
Ella Shipley, who lives with Cerebral Palsy as well as visual impairment, has never allowed these conditions stop her from achieving her dreams.
Thanks to her unwavering determination and a little bit of support from RNIB, Ella is now waiting to graduate and hopes to pursue her passion for fundraising.
Speaking to RNIB Connect Radio’s Simon Pauley, Ella tells us more about her studies, volunteering, and why she wants to give back to those that helped her throughout the years.
