While Nirav Modi successfully managed to flee outside the country, the Income Tax Department and Enforcement Directorate started attaching his property to recover the losses. The agencies estimated that the value of assets of Nirav Modi was more than or equal to the $2 Billion Fraud. However, as per the latest information, the value of seized assets is just about half of it.
