Tranmere take on Rochdale in their final pre-season friendly this weekend and there will be a familiar face in the visitors’ line up.
Joe Thompson spent two years at Prenton Park from 2012 to 2014. He has twice been diagnosed with cancer and has recovered on each occasion.
He joined Matt to speak about his battles, scoring the goal that kept Rochdale up last season and how much he is looking forward to seeing the Tranmere fans as he returns to the Wirral
