Days after Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy cried in the party meeting, a senior Congressman said some of the leaders from the party are tormenting the CM. Kumaraswamy had said that holding on to the coalition is like drinking poison. However, he has retracted his statement now saying his speech was misreported and the coalition is strong. This incident had also prompted a response from finance minister Arun Jaitley. He tweeted, ""Listening to these statements of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, my memory took me back to the tragedy era of Hindi cinema. However, the newly appointed KPCC Chief Dinesh gundu Rao hit back at him saying Jaitley should first look into bjp's effort of stitching an unholy alliance. It has been Barely 50 days since the Congress-JDS post-poll alliance formed the government in Karnataka and the cracks are becoming more apparent. Now people are wondering whether this will repeat on the national level if the opposition coalition comes to power.
