While the Modi government recently approved the decision to raise the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for the Kharif season for 2018-2019, increasing the MSP for paddy by Rs. 200 per quintal, the BJP government claims it to be a boon for every farmer, while the opposition calls it a sham!
