The Tour de France’s third stage was a team time trial in the countryside around Cholet and The Cycling Podcast’s sleek formation of Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie and François Thomazeau discuss the winners and losers of the day.

The yellow jersey changed hands after BMC Racing won the team time trial – just as they did in Brittany three years ago. That means Greg Van Avermaet is the new race leader.
