MARIE CURIE FLAGSHIP WALKING EVENT BACK FOR 2018

Marie Curie, is calling on the Northern Ireland public to sign up to the Twilight Walk, which will take place on Friday 28 September.

The popular annual event, previously named known as Walk Ten, will be at a new location at Barnetts Demense, in South Belfast start time 7.30pm.

“We’re all very excited about the revamp of Walk Ten. It has always been a fantastic event and it will now be bigger and better. Twilight Walk is a great excuse to get together with friends, family or colleagues for a beautiful walk around Barnett Demense, taking in Shaws Bridge towpath and Lock Keepers Cottage.

  “Participants should can expect much more than just a walk – there will be a festival atmosphere with music, entertainment and finishing things off with a spectacular fireworks display. All money raised from the event will be used by Marie Curie to help people living with a terminal illness and their families across Northern Ireland.”
