So, last night was a big one for Northern Ireland's gay community. At an event hosted at Stormont Arlene Foster became the first DUP leader to attend an LGBT event. This morning we're going to talk about gay people and their future in Northern Ireland. Arlene Foster's attendance at the Pink News event last night has been hailed as a positive one. It's a big step for a party which not so long ago ran a campaign to "save Ulster from sodomy". But what's actually changed? Well the DUP have been at pains to point out that none of their policies around gay issues have been altered. And what about Sinn Fein? Well they have been shouting their rights based agenda from the roof tops.
