South Sudan Youths Mobilized to Communicate Peace messages

A Group of young men and women in Juba are being mobilised to acquire basic skills for Peace advocacy.

The youths though Peace ambassador’s clubs are taught how to communicate peace messages through drawings and writing.

This initiative is a brainchild of the Organization for Peoples Empowerment Center South Sudan, a civil society organisation, the International Peace Youth group and the Whitaker Peace and development foundation.

Justoson Victor Yuasa, Executive Director Peoples Empowerment Centre South Sudan spoke with Regina Gorle about why the young people are important for the country’s peace movement.
