South Sudan to take part in 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo Japan

South Sudan celebrated the flag-hoisting ceremony of the Olympic flag at the Nimratalata field in Juba over the weekend, symbolizing South Sudan’s entry into the Olympic family.
South Sudan became the 206th member of the International Olympic Committee in August 2015 and the country’s athletes will take part in the 2020 Olympic games due in Japan.
