An independent review report has concluded the PSNI allowed a suspect to investigate themselves. As incredible as this might sound, the Nolan show has seen documentation from an official report showing that this happened. Here's the story. A member of staff reported an allegation to police that elderly residents were being locked inside their rooms throughout the night. The police recorded a crime number and then took nothing to do with gathering the evidence. The police say this is normal protocol, but that in itself is a significant story.
