Analyst suggests need for Parties to address Deep seated root causes of the conflict

The SPLM-IO released a statement proposing a change in model and approach for the talks.

The statement says the current workshop-centred model under the regional Grouping IGAD is unrealistic and recommends more time so that the parties address the deep-seated root causes to the conflict.  

Kenya’s Ababu-Terrah Namwamba says all proposals are welcome and will be considered.
