Dire situation for Newly arrived IDPs in Makpandu refugees Camp
Increased insecurity, looting and killings in the recent weeks by armed men in the bush has created fear and panic among citizens in Bangasu County forcing hundreds of people to flee their homes to stay in the Camp. The situation of internally displaced persons arriving in Makpandu refugees Camp is dire.
Latest estimates show up to 20 thousand new Internally displaced persons have arrived in two villages of Makpandu and Ba-zu-mbu-ru Camps.
In view of this situation, the authorities in Gbudue state, urged humanitarian actors to continue addressing urgent humanitarian needs and provide durable solutions for internally displaced persons.
