Chukudum County commissioner survives ambush, gunmen spray vehicle with bullets
The newly appointed commissioner of Chukudum County in Kapoeta State has escaped an ambush.
Arungole Rino Loremo was returning from a meeting in Kapoeta town when he was intercepted by armed men in Morilonyang hill along ‘Kapoeta Camp 15 Road’ on Monday afternoon.
Kapoeta state information minister, Joseph Kabaka Attiol confirms that the commissioners vehicle was sprayed with bullets and says no injuries were reported.
Attiol says security personnel have been deployed to the area to track the footprints of the attackers.
He spoke to James Okello in this interview.
