Women of South Sudan Cry for Peace in Addis
Delegates at the revitalization talks in Addis-Ababa on Sunday held special prayers for peace.
The inter-faith prayers organized by the South Sudan Council of Churches and representatives from the Islamic Council turned out to be a powerful cry from the church and the people’s representatives for peace.
Women got down on their knees, opened up their hearts and wept, challenging their representatives to reach an agreement.
Radio Miraya’s Patricia Okoed is in Addis-Ababa and now reports.
