The business community is pleading with the parties to the conflict to hammer out a peace deal to get the country back on track on the path to development.
Secretary-General of the South Sudan Chamber of Commerce, Simon Akuei Deng is in Addis Ababa as a stakeholder at the High-Level Revitalization forum.
Speaking in Addis, Deng attributed the economic challenges to a failure of the parties to strike compromises.
He appealed to the parties involved to set aside their differences and dialogue in the interest of the people of South Sudan.
