If you leave old parents, then you may be imprisoned for six months

Ignoring old parents can be costly now coz If you leave your parents or abused them, then they can now be a six-month jail. The Government wants to increase the existing three months of imprisonment to six. For this, parents and senior citizens are prepared to make changes in the Fisheries and Welfare Act of 2007.

It is mandatory for the children and the heirs to pay their ten thousand rupees per month to their parents and senior citizens in the existing law. Now its all depends on the Childerns Income.

According to a senior official, The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has also drafted the Amendment Bill.
