The Department of Health announced yesterday that an independent inquiry will review the recall of neurology patients by the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. The inquiry will examine the process started by the Trust in December 2016. It came after concerns were raised about the clinical practice of Dr Michael Watt which resulted in last week's patient recall announcement. It will also assess whether any complaints or concerns about Dr Watt before December 2016 should have led to an earlier intervention. The Nolan Show is digging into this story on your behalf.
