Hope through Song: South Sudan church choir takes peace crusade to refugees in Uganda
A South Sudanese gospel group is using song to pass on a message of peace and hope to South Sudanese refugees in Uganda.
The ‘United South Sudan Gospel Music Singers Group’ on Monday embarked on a week-long crusade of live concerts in Yumbe District.
They spent two days at Swinga Camp and will next move onto Bidibidi camp.
Choir leader, Pastor Khamis Kennedy said their main objective is to use music as a universal language to preach peace and raise hope.
