The Spotlight with United Nations Volunteer, Adwoa Aboagye, Engineering Construction Supervisor from Ghana
Adwoa Aboagye, is a Ghanaian national and the fourth born out of five siblings - three girls and two boys.
She holds a Bachelors degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture and Construction Project Management and currently works as a UNV Construction Supervisor in Engineering Section at the United Nations Mission in South Sudan.
She previously worked with the private sector in Ghana. Her hobbies are watching movies and browsing interior designs.
Favourite foods? Rice, coconut and Almonds.
Her motivation she says is drawn from her late father’s quote “The race is not to the swift, or the battle for the strong, but it is God that shows mercy”. "This encourages me to be patient in every aspect of life and at the same time diligent in everything I put my hands to. Having in mind that if it is destined to be, it will surely come to pass effortlessly, says Aboagye.
