The Spotlight with United Nations Volunteer, Miriam Pineau, Civil Affairs Officer from Canada

Miriam Pineau is a Civil Affairs Officer, voLunteering her skills with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan - UNMISS headquarters in Juba. 

Previously, Miriam headed communications and fundraising efforts at an all-girls secondary school in Nanyuki, Kenya. 

Prior to that, she spent eight years working in local government in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa. Miriam is passionate about girls’ education and the involvement of women in politics. 

Miriam shares her experience as a United Nations Volunteer in South Sudan.
