Police trained on combating Female Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling
The Ministry of Interior through the South Sudan National Police is stepping up surveillance and efforts to tackle human trafficking.
Several police officers have received extensive training on how to combat, investigate and handle cases of human trade. The ‘training-of-trainers program’ is being supported by ‘Expertise France’ – a French based international technical cooperation agency.
Capt John Mading Mabor, head of the Anti-Human Trafficking and Migrants smuggling Unit says South Sudan faces increasing cases of human trafficking.
Captain Mading accompanied by Laurent GROSBOIS, Project director Expertise France were hosted on Miraya Breakfast show.
