The Department of Health has asked the Belfast Health Trust to "urgently explain" how the a trip to Amsterdam complied with the department's criteria. 61 staff from the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust are in Amsterdam this week. Not on their holidays, but at the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare. The Nolan Show understands there are around 100 health service staff across NI going to this event. But in the age of video conferencing and indeed telephones - does any trust really need to have send 61 staff on a trip to one of Europe's most popular city break destinations?
